A newly established clean energy company seeks to appoint an experienced and seasoned Chief Operating Officer to lead the company and work closely with leadership.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER - RENEWABLE & CLEAN ENERGY
As Chief Operating Officer of our Renewable & Clean energy company, you will develop, lead and implement the renewable and clean energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and drive the strategy for renewable energy business from business development to implementation and management of projects.
Demonstrated leadership by building competitive organizations and innovative teams with agile and creative culture.
Maintaining diverse network to facilitate identification of market opportunities and create project
pipelines.
Translating identified opportunities into commercially viable business cases with cutting edge technology solutions.
Analyze and interpret regulations and policies, international benchmarks and solutions, competitive
• Developing and maintaining continuous performance management mechanisms to assess KPls such as project cost, profitability and growth indicators on continuous basis.
• Developing right mix of technology portfolio across diverse renewable energy avenues including solar,
wind, geothermal and hydropower.
Take the lead in understanding of new and relevant clean energy technologies for the purpose of efficiency in power consumption.
Provide complex analytical recommendations in the design, implementation, and administration of policies and objectives involving matters of local, state, and federal government legislation and regulations.
Education

Experience

Requirements
• Hands on experience of developing and implementing large renewable energy projects including, commercial and technical due diligence.
Proven track record of running a large renewable/clean energy company or setting up a multibillion dollar renewable energy projects.
Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, business development, strategic thinking, talent management, time management, communication & interpersonal skills.
Fully conversant with regulatory regime and organizations especially in NEPRA.
• The candidate should be preferably not more than 45 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
